Archdiocesan Youth Jubilee Pilgrimage Experience
“The Journey Starts Here: Called by Christ Moved by Hope”
The Evangelization Commission is hosting a Youth Jubilee Pilgrimage Experience. It was born from the hearts of young people across our Archdiocese —youth longing for a space to be prayed for, to be seen, and to feel close to God. Many shared the challenge of staying faithful when life becomes difficult. In response, this pilgrimage is more than a day, it’s a journey of hope, leading youth into deeper relationship with Christ.
Rooted in the Jubilee Year theme “Hope Does Not Disappoint”, this initiative begins in July with a month of spiritual preparation, led by catechists and youth leaders who will engage young people weekly with themed reflections and challenges to guide their hearts toward God.

Our Mission: To awaken in every young heart the deep truth that God is always present, even in difficulty that hope never disappoints when it is rooted in Him.
Our Goal: That youth will leave:
-
Renewed in faith and filled with joyful hope
-
Better equipped to center themselves in Christ
-
Ready to live as witnesses of hopein their families, schools, parishes, and communities
Beyond the Pilgrimage:
The journey doesn’t end here. We continue the mission through upcoming initiatives:
-
Hope Village— a space for deeper community, dialogue, and formation
-
The Hope Walk— a public witness of faith and evangelization across the Archdiocese
Together, we are raising up a generation of youth who are not just attending events, but becoming Pilgrims of Hope, walking with Christ and spreading His light to the world.

Weekly Challenges
-
Week 1: Called to the Journey – Letting Go
Youth are invited to give up something that distracts them from God — social media, negativity, habits — and allow grace to work through their sacrifice.
-
Week 2: The Inner Road – Prayer & Silence
We encourage youth to make space for silence each day, learning to quiet the noise and hear God’s voice more clearly.
-
Week 3: Deepen the Encounter – Faith & Catechesis
This week focuses on learning and understanding our Catholic faith through scripture, Church teachings, and open discussions that strengthen belief and identity.
-
Week 4: Hope Week – Spreading the Love
Youth are challenged to act on their faith by giving, serving, encouraging, and creating a ripple of hope in someone else’s life.
These weeks prepare the heart for the Pilgrimage Day — a powerful, hope-filled encounter with Christ and His Church.
